Team Building Challenges At Elsewhere Offsite Retreats

We’ve created all of our own team building experiences. They are unique to Elsewhere and we run them at all of our corporate retreats.

Stay away from generic team building at your team away days. The watch-words for us are fun, authenticity and originality.

Find 90 minutes to 4 hours at your offsite to get the energy levels up and have some fun.
We like to break you into smaller teams that collaborate or compete head to head.

Our big outdoor activities include Master Chef: Farmyard Edition, where teams have to firstly collect ingredients; which includes finding a cow and milking it, making butter, driving the tractor, collecting the eggs, making flatbreads and locating the goat for some goat yoga. Teams then build fires to cook omelettes, using the ingredients they collected- and ultimately are judged by our Exec. Chef, Theo Michaels, a previous Master Chef semi-finalist.

During Survive Amersham, teams are given CB radios and their tasks include cracking the morse code, building shelters, finding the whole fish and creating a meal (but not before Elsewhere’s infamous fish-selfie), lighting a fire with no matches and creating a flag from bed sheets. Teams have to locate the co-ordinates for the final session and race to free up stranded team mates that are literally ‘stuck in the mud’.

There’s lots more going on with all of our unique team challenges and they can last from 90 minutes up to 4 hours- all dependent on which activity you go for and how it needs to tie in with your offsite schedule.

“We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our team away trip with Elsewhere. Hill House was the perfect location for a summer getaway, the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and we were spoilt for choice of activities with the tennis courts, the croquet lawn, and the games room! The catering was to a very high standard, and we particularly enjoyed the luxury BBQ and pizza making!

The highlight of the trip would undoubtedly be the bomb deactivation exercise – it was innovative and engaging and proved to be a real bonding experience for all of the team (even if some of us came out with a couple of scratches!). Two months later we are still talking about how much fun we had – a big thanks from us all at Deloitte to the Elsewhere team for making our trip an unforgettable experience.”
