Elsewhere Team Building: Murder at Hill House

Team Building Challenge: Murder at Hill House

We’ve created all our own team building experiences. They are unique to Elsewhere and we run them at all of our corporate retreats.

There’s a gun shot that rattles around the house (what a way to kick-start your team building session). There’s a bit of screaming and everyone discovers one of the Hill House team lying in a pool of blood. There’s been a murder.

We break you into teams, put you into crime scene overalls and brief you on the task at hand. Each team has to figure out the who, how and why. Who did it? How did they do it? Why did they do it?

Teams have to follow the trails of evidence and work their way around the house. There’s lots of evidence to find, including newspapers, hidden rooms, fingerprints, CCTV footage, UV analysis, secret hideaways, the strange neighbour, websites and family trees.

We even teach you how to lift and analyse fingerprints using real forensic equipment.

It’s like your own mousetrap, just for your team.

And whilst this activity originated at Hill House Norfolk- we run spectacular versions at The Amersham Campus and at The Olde Bell in Hurley

More on Elsewhere Team Building

Elevate your corporate offsite experience with Elsewhere’s innovative team-building challenges, uniquely crafted to energize and unite your team. Our activities, such as the ‘Master Chef: Farmyard Edition’—where teams milk cows, make butter, and engage in goat yoga—and ‘Survive Amersham,’ involving CB radios, Morse code cracking, and fire-lighting without matches, are designed to be both fun and original. These immersive experiences, lasting between 90 minutes to 4 hours, are exclusive to Elsewhere and are integral to our corporate retreats, providing authentic and engaging alternatives to traditional team-building exercises.
