An inspiring virtual Christmas at home, during Covid in 2020

In 2020, the festive season was overshadowed by the COVID-19 pandemic, compelling many to rethink traditional celebrations. Amidst these challenges, Elsewhere Offsites pioneered an innovative approach to corporate holiday events by orchestrating inspiring virtual Christmas experiences that brought teams together, despite physical distances.

Recognizing the importance of maintaining team morale and cohesion during unprecedented times, Elsewhere designed bespoke virtual events tailored to each organization’s culture and preferences. These events featured a variety of engaging activities, including interactive games, live entertainment, and collaborative workshops, all facilitated through seamless online platforms.

Inspired by the crazy and chaos of TV in the 90's with The Big Breakfast and TFI Friday - we built a brand new virtual platform. In essence it's an exclusive and interactive TV show hosted at Hill House - the Tudor Manor set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.

A hallmark of these virtual celebrations was the emphasis on personalization. Companies could choose from themed experiences, such as virtual winter wonderlands or festive cooking classes, ensuring that each event resonated with participants and fostered a sense of togetherness. Additionally, Elsewhere coordinated the delivery of curated gift boxes to employees’ homes, containing items like gourmet treats, personalized notes, and festive decorations, further enhancing the communal spirit.

Feedback from clients highlighted the success of these virtual gatherings in boosting employee engagement and morale. Participants appreciated the opportunity to connect with colleagues in a festive setting, alleviating feelings of isolation and reinforcing team bonds. The creativity and adaptability demonstrated by Elsewhere Offsites set a benchmark for virtual corporate events, showcasing that, even in challenging times, meaningful and memorable celebrations are achievable..
